This mixtape was based upon the scene in Boogie Nights where they go to buy the coke and the dealer is listening to "Sister Christian" and talking about how much he loves to make mixtapes(incidently, his was named "my awesome mixtape #6). with that in mind i took a tape recorder and taped all of my favorite moments of dialog from the film and put them on as interludes, so i guess you could say this is a tribute to that movie. anyway i like this mix because it goes from a funky party vibe into some real hard rock to end side one. the second side is pretty mellow but still has some up tempo songs to keep it rolling.
