Comment:

The title is a reference to the McLaughlin group on PBS, but I made it for a girl named Kelly McLaughlin and it is a 90 minute tape, thus and hour and a half. When I was applying for my job out here in DC she really helped me out and gave me some good advice before my interview that I think helped me get the job. So i wanted to do something for her. And what do I do well? Make mixtapes, I guess. So I made Side A just really poppy and happy and side B as an introduction to the independent side of music. It didn't hurt that she's cuter than a basket full of puppies and spring flowers. She's since moved to CA, but she took the mix with her and I can only assume still listening to it. If you do notice, the first real song on side A has her name in it. OOOOOOHHHHHHH! Clever!
