Comment:
I was trading CDs with a buddy of mine. He got a copy of a Live performance of Frank, Sammy and Dean from 1963 and it was AMAZING! So I said if he made me a copy I'd make a CD for him. Thus, the collection of "Family" favorites. I've included all the movies the songs appeared in (although I can't remember which movie that Connie Francis song was in) and yes, all these songs were from my personal collection. As a (at least partly) Italian-American I grew up with this music in our home, and so when I'd hear it in the "mob" movies it really seemed to stick in my head. I know, the mix is a little 'Godfather-centric' but that is after all the ultimate mob movie. Most importantly though, this is all great music. Maybe THAT's why people like those movies so much? Very cool theme. I like.

Good stuff!
This reminds me of the record, "Music To Watch Girls By." Looks good.
nice. the mob doesn't get enough good publicity these days. perhaps this mix will help? also, where's free bird? i heard the godfather loves that song.
