So I had one of those nights that leaves you hating the human race and pretty much just wanting to die. This starts off with a bunch of songs that illustrate precisely what I think is wrong with 99% of the population. From track 5 through track 17, we get a bit morose... ever read Prozac Nation, where Elizabeth talks about what music she'd want to listen to while dying? Those are essentially the tracks I'd want to hear in that situation. Track 17 is a bit of a final fuck-you track... "we hope that you choke." And then finally, ending on something of a brighter note... "don't let the world bring you down/not everyone here is that fucked up and cold." Although THAT sentiment has yet to be proven to me, it's a nice thought anyway.
