Comment:

This is for a trade with fellow AOTMer chip6061. If you're into this sort of thing, check out his repetoire- he's got some brilliant stuff that you might like. My biggest complaint is that the Brother Cane + Opeth tracks are a bit TOO mellow; they seem to pull the whole mix down a bit too far in the end. For the most part, however, I'm pleased. It was great to find a place to put some Therapy? on a mix where it wouldn't stick out too much. Oh yeah: the Kiss song is a complete indulgence- almost like a sick joke at the end. Damn, it's a fun song! The title comes from the Smile Empty Soul track. I hope some of you will enjoy this. Out.

There's nothing wrong with Clay Aiken. You have to admit he's better than the other American Idol people. I used to loathe that show, but I think he's adorable. This mix is good. Love the Trapt and Kiss songs.

Dude! I haven't heard that Headstones track in forever...thanks for the memories! This one looks like a gem, but what's Penguin rambling on about Clay for? Did ya make a comment to her about him or somethin?

PS...I just posted a new mix, might not be your style, but give it a look-see.

Cheers!

I think I speak for a good chunk of people when I say that American Idol is a good idea, but poorly executed. The world doesn't need more flash-in-the-pan pop singers, + American Idol is looking to churn them out over + over again. Years from now, there will be an entire bargain bin at your local record store devoted to the hits (+ inevitable misses) of the American Idol folk. I'm not saying they can't sing- I'm saying that people will soon grow weary of listening. Out.
