Comment:
Lovemakers - great new band out of the SF Bay Area! What a great fun band ... I love the extended end of No. 13 baby; probably my favourite song of of my favourite Pixies album ... Cranes - one of my fave bands; also one of Robert Smith's! ... the kingdom by icehouse; very soothing and relaxing track; it's a gorgeous song and iva davies has such a nice voice ... pancake circus is the brother of the owner of one of our favourite late dive bars in SF - think hip hop mixed with "I don't give a shit punk" and you won't be close ... Tubeway Army was Gary "Cars" Numan's first band in the late 70's; very creepy stuff, sort of like Fad Gadget ... Interpol; I believe the hype - but can they continue their forward motion? ... enigma of the absolute is such a stark, forboding song, maybe about our innate refusal (from instinct) to resist the comfort of strangers - the strings are intense and menacing! ... Fools was a B-Side for Everything Counts, and also one of the two songs in DM's oeuvre that was written entirely by Alan Wilder. The other was, of course, The Landscape is Changing off of Construction Time Again ... Stanlow by OMD is a rarity - one of the few lushly illustrated love songs devoted entirely to a dilipidated power plant in gloomy ol' England. There we go.Feedback:
hey! "no.13 baby".
hey...
just a note regarding your note: alan wilder also wrote "if you want" from some great reward.

Hey Thomas, is that Tubeway Army song the same one you played for me last Sunday? I totally dug that one!
