This is for a friend living in San Francisco, currently studying... wait for it... marine biology. Ever since I've known him he's had this obsession with fish. This sort of mix has been on my mind for years, but I've never had the resources or time or whatever to make it for him. However, success at last. The flow isn't spectacular, + some of the artists are stuff that I would normally not listen to. However, it all kept with the theme, so I went with it. The title comes from an old proverb that most of you have probably heard (my buddy quotes it in his e-mails all the time;) it goes, "Give a man to fish, he'll eat for a day. Teach him how to fish + he'll eat forever." Yeah... Anyways, I hope someone out there likes it. Out.

PS The only track listing is with the friend I gave this mix to, so I'm lost on some of the artist's names right now. Any ideas for filling in the gaps would be greatly appreciated. Out.

when i saw "how much is the fish" i thought of "buffalo" by stump. that might not have worked, though, since it doesn't have "fish" in the title.
