made for a canadian friend, bradley. he wanted to hear minus the bear and ted leo, and after discovering that he did not own a tape cassette player, i took it upon myself to make this tape for him and send him a cassette walkman because i don't believe anyone should be without mix-tapes. i might have overkilled on the boyracer and the tweepop on side one, but i assure you all of it rocks. i promised him more ted leo but my record started to skip like crazy. title comes from a promise ring song oddly enough not included in the mix. interestingly enough, as an afterthought, this is got to be the first mix i've made in a long time that didn't include anything by the get-up kids.
