Comment:

This is a collection of diverse tracks that I've downloaded recently. Diverse notes follow.

The Carrie Nations are the band in Beyond The Valley Of The Dolls. Daytrip To Heaven is a mash-up from Go Home Productions. Two WFMU-connected tracks: Laura Cantrell is the proprietress of the The Radio Thrift Shop, and Shopping Centre opens The Best Show On WFMU. The Dinosaur Jr and Wire tracks are from BBC sessions. Yojimbo is a Kurosawa film that was re-made as The Magnificent Seven. Rodd Keith was the king of Song-Poem performance. The Ramones track is a demo. Karen is the theme from the short-lived 1964 TV show

Nice! It's amazing how much cool and unusual music can find on the Internet, without having to deal with the file sharing sites.
