Comment:
This is a collection of diverse tracks that I've downloaded recently. Diverse notes follow.
The Carrie Nations are the band in Beyond The Valley Of The Dolls. Daytrip To Heaven is a mash-up from Go Home Productions. Two WFMU-connected tracks: Laura Cantrell is the proprietress of the The Radio Thrift Shop, and Shopping Centre opens The Best Show On WFMU. The Dinosaur Jr and Wire tracks are from BBC sessions. Yojimbo is a Kurosawa film that was re-made as The Magnificent Seven. Rodd Keith was the king of Song-Poem performance. The Ramones track is a demo. Karen is the theme from the short-lived 1964 TV show

Feedback:
another oblique strategem.., and love to Love Psychedelico!
Nice! It's amazing how much cool and unusual music can find on the Internet, without having to deal with the file sharing sites.
yay for Love Psychedelico and Boards - nice cover too!
excellent! Rodd Keith is just great.
Ebba Gr÷n Vad Ska Du Bli? That's my favourite swedish single of all time, had used the lyrics in 3 columns and 2 essays in school, still brilliant stuff
This looks fascinating.
AWESOME! Sock it to 'em, JB kicks ass. Great picks by the mighty Rodd Keith, Carrie Nations (the whole soundtrack is great), Ween, Ebba Gron (thanks, P), and more! Bitchin!
Cheers for Ebba Gr÷n!
Cool stuff. Are you a friend of Tom?
Holy shit. How did I miss this?
