I decided to put these discs together after seeing a list of songs used in episodes of the Buffy TV Series in an issue of SFX magazine. Some of them were in my collection already so I was off to a good start and managed to locate the others without too much hassle. The first part covers series 1 to 4. Episodes the songs are taken from are as follows; Twilight Zone - `The Witch', I fall to pieces - `Prophecy Girl', These boots were made for walkin' - `Reptile boy', Never Land - only used in the original broadcasts of `Lie to me' but was withdrawn for legal reasons, Cruel to be kind - `Bad eggs', Got the love - `Bewitched, bothered and bewildered', Never an easy way - `Passion', My Way - It's this version, rather than the Sex Pistols version, that Spike plays in his car at the end of `Lovers walk', G-Song - `The zeppo', Chinese Burn - `Bad Girls', Praise You - `The Prom', Memory of a free festival - `The Freshman'.
