The title of this mix is self explanatory really. It's a part of the United States I've had a fascination with ever since seeing films like Southern Comfort and the Big Easy. I've never been to Louisiana, so I don't know how accurate a picture this mix makes, but I love all the songs on here. They also provide a great musical accompaniment to the heat wave we're having in the UK at the moment :-)Feedback:
Yeah, you've pretty much captured the essence. N.O. is a great place; get a ticket and go check it out! Bring beads. JJ Cale does not show up here nearly as often as John Cale, but I did have him in a mix recently.
This looks pretty cool. Check out some of the mixes Franklin Onn has done ... and I think Mo Twang has a New Orleans mix, too ...
