Comment:

80 Minutes of the best music from the era of my mother's birth! Although, she really didn't hear any of this music in the 60's cause' she grew up in another country.. Well, I'm making up for the loss. These are some of my favorite songs from the past. Stuff I've heard on movies, oldies stations, television, anything that documents the music from the 60's. I still have to buy these artist's albums but these songs/hits will do for now. I still have a good 60 years of life (out of 80) to fully discover all the music from the past. I know that the Ennio Morricone track stands out like a sore thumb but I really didn't have any other mix to put it on and it fit best with this mix of sixties music. I saw "Once Upon A Time In The West" and I was I was entranced by the music which I later discovered was by Morricone, a music legend.

Well, maybe not better but it defintely was good! Great mix. "To Sir With Love" is a real period piece.

Ennio Morricone is a God, Ronnie Spector a Goddess, Lee Hazelwood is a maverick - Billy Stewart defies belief. Better? For whom? Artist or audience? Does it matter? You like what you like - music travels back and forth.
