Inspired by the excellent mixes posted recently by Messrs. Moe and Mohr, I felt an urge to jump on the bandwagon. I decided to stick to vinyl, which should explain the preponderance of tracks from the late 60s and early 70s. There are some ridiculous (Cosby) and sublime (McFerrin) renditions here, a couple of non-English versions (Los Yaki, Titti), and a healthy dose of schmaltz (Sonny & Cher, Mystic Moods). Turn off your mind, relax and float downstream.
For a limited time MP3s are available for download.

Lenny, you're the man! I like the Groovies and Sinatra covers. And the Yes cover isn't they're normal post-second album overblown self. But for my money, no one did a better version of "Hey Jude" than Tiny Tim and the Brave Combo. Boss, man.

Yikes! I've only heard the McFerrin track, but this looks quite righteous...

Yet another great cover - you're on my short list of AotMers that I check in on just in case I missed a new mix. And as with most of your mixes, great call on the stuff I already know, which makes me think that the rest of it top notch as well. And you are the first person other than myself that I've ever seen throw the Liverpool Beats on a mix disc. And the Tater Totz (Danny Bonduce cut) are always a friend to the Beatles mix maker! I just realized that you have these available as audio files - you are just too fucking cool and user friendly.
