Comment:
A mix made as expiation for its partner, "Your Favorite Scary 80s Songs." The goal was to make a more or less coherent pass through non-top-40 80s music and find the exquisite b-sides, posthumous releases, underground faves, and outright illegal tracks ("Lesson 3") that made the decade's music bearable. Partly made for my sister, who's starting seminary, hence the gospel-shouting samples of "Help Me Somebody" and the demo version of "Every Grain of Sand." One of a two disc set that tried to plumb the depths of the eighties and find songs that either were too good or way too bad for the decade...Feedback:
lovely. missing the killing moon though.
Sonic Death: yeah, I know. Would you believe neither eMusic nor the iTunes Music Store has Killing Moon? I may have to buy a CD?
