this tape is for a friend in exchange for a french mix tape. originaly she wanted something with alexander spence but he only wrote and recorded "oar" (not counting the songs he wrote for other bands) and it didn't feel fair just to send a burned copy of an original album. so i made a copy of my "when the sun hits" tape to include in the trade. but it still felt kinda dull to send an old mix tape (and the fact that the summer is over didn't help either=) so i sat down and made this. i dare not say if any of these songs have any special connection to the fall but that dosen't matter. they are all great songs and i hope she likes the mix.
