Comment:

i decided to make a mix tape for my friend cori, to expose her to some stuff i liked. the a-side is kind of hectic, because i just grabbed whatever was nearby. by the time i made it to the b-side, i realized i would need a whole lot more tapes to do that, so i became a bit choosier.

side a's creation was marred by my 7" of julee cruise's "falling" running into a skip and singing "are we..." over and over again until i hit the needle. i didn't re-record it, because i have decided that perfection is all about the moment.

side b's creation was marred because i ran out of space when i was putting that hated song on there, and i wanted the jets song after it. so i removed the last two songs -- a jawbreaker song and a modest mouse song -- and just put the hated and jets to brazil songs on instead.
