Comment:

So we're going to Atlantic City this weekend. While we're there, we're going to see a rodeo. That's what this CD is all about: seeing a rodeo in Atlantic City. Incidentally, wouldn't it be funny if there was a band called Rodeohead that did western swing versions of Radiohead songs?

Rodeohead.... that's hilarious. I bet it would sound like Luther Wright's country version of the Wall, which I like at least as much as the original.

By the way, there are great tunes on here - it's inspired me to finish my spaghetti western mix ("The Return of Billy Jack"). I was going to say, thank god you didn't put that cursed Paula Cole song on this mix, but.......

That is awesome. And anything in music is possible. In college I was in a cover band called "Tiffany In Bondage"...we did reggae versions of Alice In Chains. Just sing "The Rooster" like Bob Marley. :)

this is absolutely fabulous! COWTOWN! HA! (and by the way, Luther Wright's version of the Wall is pretty brilliant if you haven't heard it...)

You do good work sir - and you stretch the shit out of a theme and run with it. And I like that. And sign me up with pro Rodeohead folks - you cracked me up and ihope right now someone's going "yeah, Rodeohead, that's a great idea for my new band." WARNING: If you don't make a mix titled RODEOHEAD in the next few months I WILL steal it.
