a weezer*sunny day real estate mix
Comment:
does anyone realise how difficult it is to just fit ONE side of a tape with sunny day songs?? there were so many i had to eliminate. ((i'm going to make myself a sunny day mix))this mix was made for a friend who hasn't heard of sunny day real estate.
Feedback:
im not criticising but this isnt a mix tape, its laziness, as is the weezer-bis and the travis bis tapes, i mean yeah if it was like the best of one artist. there are rules with compilation tapes, and you have broken them, have you never read hi fidelity?
paul donohoe, hi
hmmmm. what can i say.
i'm pretty disappointed and upset that you feel that the 3 recent mix tapes i added to my artofthemix account are not mix tapes at all.
i think they are. everyone makes a mix tape differently. there are no rules to it. if everyone were to make them the same, where would the diversity be?
i respect the way every mix is made. i don't criticize people if they
have more than ONE song from the same artist on a mix or if the format of their mix is like a sampler
or if they only have 2 artists on their mix.
the 3 mixes i made are no different from a single artist mix. those mixes are a mix of 2 bands. a mix of their songs.
and to say those mixes were just "laziness" is pretty low. i spent as much thinking and time putting those together as i did my other mixes.
and yes, i've read "hi-fidelity"...twice. it's a great book.
but i don't go around making my mixes according to what nick hornby says.
go ahead and do yours the way he does, but don't criticize [and yes you were criticizing] the way other people make theirs.
thank you.
bye.

this is total bullshit, crap, I vomit on your lack of distinction and cut a fart in your general direction
after further thought and also looking at ekroys other mix tapes, may i take the time to apologise, i was a bit rash and indeed ekroy is a master of the mix tape, must of got me before the coffee, sorry ekroy.
thank you peter. apology accepted. and sorry for calling you paul.
