Comment:

This one goes back to 1994 when I still didn't have too much to chose from, but it wears so damn well. It was my first summer on the east Coast and it was hella-hot, hence the title which translates to something like "Music of a stifling heat." Yeah, it is a little heavy on the Springsteen, but the guy writes a defensibly damn good song. The guitar solo in "Spell is Broken" is one of my all-time faves. Anguish a-go-go. "Looks like Rain" is clearly one of Weir's best efforts. And if you haven't heard the Green/Lovett duet of "Ain't It Funny" you are missing something. I stand by this one!
