what's up with that modest mouse & built to spill number? my dad has an mp3 of it, but it's labelled as if it's some local band trying to get people to download their songs by using a familiar band names. he played it for me once, and i didn't recognize it at all. this was a year ago, though. and my ears may not have been as trained as they are now. but still, i can't find any information on it, or an mp3 of it. so if you could help me out, that'd be great. thanks.

p.s. this is a great mix. i love the pavement and neutral milk hotel picks especially. i think the theme is really cool. i've always said i'd marry the first girl to make me a mix tape (this didn't happen - one finally did, but she's creepy), but i've never actually designed the mix tape. :).

with the exception of (exploding hearts whom i have never heard before) i'd make this exact mixtape. Oddly enough I'm in the air force living in england, im from maryland( 2 1/2yrs until i am free again!) and i found a friend in my squadron who is from Boise Idaho and loves Built to Spill. How cool is that? I'm a guy and im married but i still have to say that Michael Stipe is the cutest thing and I'm in love with him. He doesnt get the credit he deserves. B&S are great, their new cd is really, really good. King of carrot flowers...awesome song! Hmm anything by Weezer off of Pinkerton is great, its a shame they kinda suck now. Pixies awesome! I just read that they-re getting back together next yr and touring woo hoo!! Cut yer hair by pavement came out when i was 16 i think( im 27now) and i fucking loved it!!! Basically what I'm saying is great mix. Lots of cool 90's stuff but alas no Ben lee!! :) No one has ever made me a mix cd this good nor appreciated one that ive made them the way they should. Mix tapes are possibly the most romantic thing ever. If i knew ya and you made me this mix, i'd be in awe.
