Comment:
oct. 2003. Fall tapes are my favorite and most cherished genre, so I put a lot of (ridiculous) work into this one. All songs chosen to be suitable for walking on a sunny day with a scarf through the falling/fallen leaves or for sitting inside, drinking coffee on a rainy morning. I tried to create a couple themed stretches (flight--fugitive--war, etc.) and then a larger narrative on side two, which isn't perfect, but it's the best I could manage. Some might say that three songs involving Alison Krauss might be a bit excessive, but it's all about the MIX, you know. Happy fall!Feedback:
"Helpless"! Man, how could I forget! This is the Fall afternoon song that makes you wanna go out an' start shooting heroin... nice mix...
This is a really classy mix and wholly appropriate for the season.
Oh my god, Sarah Vaughn. I love her.
This is a great mix.
This is a great mix.
