oh. em. GEE! i LOVE this! excellent, wonderful, beautiful work! ryan adams is one of my favourite artists of all time.
this is quite nice, I must say. a lot of songs I either overlooked or hadn't heard before. I'll never tire of 'la cienga just smiled' or 'when the stars go blue'. aaah. I'm quite curious about the new record.
Thanks 2 all. To Jane: I love the two new records. Rock N Roll is what it says in the title, a rock record (except the title song). He doesn't sound like he sounded on Heartbreaker or Gold. It's more like Nuclear or Starting To Hurt. But it's brilliant. A mixture of Oasis, Strokes, Smiths and a couple of other stuff, but still 100% Ryan. Love Is Hell Part 1 is more quiet but has great songs on it, e.g. the Oasis cover "Wonderwall" or my favorite song "World War 24". BOTH ARE ABSOLUTELY WORTH BUYING !!!!!
