Excellent mix. Every song is from my favorite albums of the year as well.

I love most of this mix although I still can't get over Guster's "sell-out" album..whatever, my hang-up not yours , adie from that excellent mix. How is the Fire Theft disc..does it sound like Sunny Day?? Cheers!

The Fire Theft doesn't really sound like Sunny Day, though a few songs were remnants from the Rising Tide sessions i think. I dunno, some people identity TFT as more prog-rockish, but I think they just have more pop sensibilities...it's a nice album.

kind of similar to what i would have done. but kind of different too. but i guess that latter part was implied by the former. i am an idiot.

One of my favorite mixes I've ever seen anyone post... Guster, Over the Rhine, The Shins, Ben Folds, Radiohead, Rufus, and The Wrens will all be on my year-end mix as well. (And just for the record, I must respectfully disagree with the notion that Guster's new CD doesn't measure up... it's my favorite of their four).
