Comment:
Can't believe that I'm the first one on Art of the Mix to do a Mark Lanegan mix. Seen him last monday and he was amazing. Check out Field Songs and Whiskey for the Holy Ghost.
Feedback:
I can't believe you didn't put QOTSA's "Auto Pilot". That is one of his best songs.
Firstly, this is a Mark lanegan best of, not a QOTSA mix, although they are a great band. Secondly, Lanegan didn't even write Autopilot, and only sings backing with Josh Homme vocals on that track. Nick Oliveri, the bassist of QOTSA does lead vocals on that one.
Very nice! I only know 'winding sheet' and 'whiskey', but they are both great releases. I like his solo stuff better than most latter day Screaming Trees. Great, great voice, and a strong stage presence.
