Comment:
This is a mix I made my mother for her birthday. Some songs are things I know she likes, the others are things I thought she'd like. I'd say more, but I'm feverish right now, and it would probably just be pointless rambling. Not that that is any different than usual. Title is from Van.PS- I owe some of you emails...I'll get those out in the next few days, hopefully. As soon as I get nearer to consciousness.
Feedback:
Great stuff Adam, lovely mood, lovely flow. Your moms digs Dirty 3?
This is really cool. And I'm making mixes for my mom too (for Christmas). Hope you're better soon.
Love the Coltrane and Miles stuff. Get well soon.
Oh, almost forgot: Thanks to Steve Mossholder for Coltrane. And bear, the Dirty 3 are one of the groups I'm thinking she would like. Time will tell. Thanks everyone.
Excellent choices!
brilliant
Great mix.
Nice.
your mother should be grateful
groovy
a load of great stuff Adam...
Great stuff, she'll be happy!
echoing what everyone says, Adam. Great pix, lots of my personal favs here. We have to trade soon, when you're ready. PS I think your mum will seriously dig this mix.
Jesus, this looks good. I wish my mother had taste that was even remotely in the same ballpark as this. Maybe if I could just pull her away from her Barbra Streisand, Barry Manilow, Rita Coolidge, Bee Gees (disco-era), Kenny Rogers, Lionel Richie and 70s/80s Dionne Warwick albums, she'd go for it. heh
This looks really wonderful Adam. I especially like the stretch from Ray Charles through Robert Wyatt.
Very nice.
Nice one, Adam. Great picks. Hope your mum likes it.
Oh, how sweet, Carly gets a mix all for her (can I copy this from you and give it to my mom as a Christmas gift?).
great touch here...esp. w/ the mixing of spiritual jazz and rock1
