my interpretation/version of a "christmas album"...at the beginning it's that whole "christmastime sucks because i have no one to share it with" type of feeling. i figured linkin park's "my december" was a good way to start this mix, since it's so sad and makes you feel lonely...and sister hazel builds on that feeling talking about "i won't be your winter" and so on...and then faith hill ties together the pessimistic songs with the optimism of actual christmas songs. the mitch and mickey track is not a christmas song, i know, but it fits perfectly on here. this is my december.
