Comment:

for once i actually know what i want to get everyone in my family for christmas, but i don't have any money at all to buy things with. so i made everyone mix tapes and i'm going to put little notes in with them saying that they're both a present and a promise of a better present soon. this is the one for my brother. by the way, does anyone know where the "swinging on a back porch jumping off a big rock" bits of david bowie's cover of pablo picasso come from? did he write them or are they in some version of the modern lovers one i've never heard?
