Comment:

I'm thoroughly in love with John Carter right now, not the Jazz musician, but the talented songwriter who penned hits for Herman's Hermits, the Troggs, Freddy and the Dreamers and other British Invasion bands of the 60s. And I have to admit, I've always been enamored of the last track, there's something about a bossa nova tribute to an architect that just warms the cockles of my heart...

very nice...except for the fact that there's no luckies song called 'puff puff' (maybe you're thinking of 'putt putt'?) anyway, this is a great mix!

Whoops! I got the track from a mix, and that was the title they had given it, thanks for the heads up!

This is beautiful, even without the jazz version of Carter.

I've recently discovered the greatness of John Carter, so I did a search to see who shared my appreciation. No surprise to see that your name came up several times -- just a reflection of your great taste! Hope we can trade sometime this year.

heh. i forgot about the spells. i drooled over them in my freshly out of the closet teenage days. great monkees song. peter was underrated. maybe still is but from last i heard, kinda doubt it. but i dont follow solo careers consistently.
