Comment:
I had a great time making this one. It's nearly 2 hours long and never lets up. I like to think of it as the ultimate 80's college-radio mix. I spent my teenage years in Las Vegas and the college station there, KUNV, was where I first heard things like Iggy and the Stooges, The Velvet Underground, Pixies, Bauhaus, Joy Division, Sonic Youth and the indestructible Mojo Nixon. And at one time or another, all the bands that made it onto this tape got played on KUNV. And this is how I remember it.As always, feedback appreciated.... Ciao.
P.S. The new Rangers-Jagr marriage....a good thing or a disaster waiting to happen?
Feedback:
drool drool drool....that radio station ruled! awesome bands, awesome songs!! only a few I don't know, but that's ok cuz I'm always looking for more!! I just made an 80's mix too... we rawk :-D
Excellent mix-- most 80's mixes are sorta fun to look at on AOTM, but this one would actually be great to listen to. Very well done. P.S. I think the Rangers needed a hair makeover, Jagr fits the bill.
Of all the great Police songs, you chose "Mother"? Ick!! Other than that, a great mix. Cool idea.
