Comment:
After getting the Norton Records album of rants and raves my the Mad Daddy, it seemed to me that it was really made for this purpose. I mean , I couldn't imagine myself listening to all the talking portions of a Rock 'n' Roll Radio Show put together with no Rock 'n' Roll , So I put it all together myself. My aim was to try to reconstruct a Mad Daddy show with what was provided on the record, I didn't use everything and there is stuff from both of his stints at WHK in Cleveland, Where he more than aptly filled the shoes of Alan Freed after he left, and WINS in New York, and of course in some spots when he says the time and date, it doesn't correspond with the last time but over all I think it works quite well.Feedback:
willd stuff. looking fun
Good to see your name back on submissions ! Wot I know here I love...great stuff!
This looks great! want to trade?
More High Weirdness from the Captain of same! You're a madman. (Get thy burner workin'...get Rome down from Toe-rant-o...he can hep.)
KEE-RAAZY, man! Welcome back, ay!
Good to see ya back pal-o-mine. This is classic Greeeeeeeessssssseeeeeballlll! F-oldin money, indeed!
Holy shite this is cool. Coincidence? My barber was talking about Mad Daddy this very morning. Love that Huey "Piano" Smith.
I don't know the mad Daddy but if he grooves w/ Link Wray, Hasil Adkins & Glen Glenn, then this has got to be great. But what I really crave to hear is the commercial for Mr. T's auto seat covers . . .
This mix swings like an elephant's dick! Hope you can get that CD burner fired up soon.
Ion, my cousin's pet chihuahua was killed dead by an elephant's swinging dick. I'll thank you to show some respect...Like this mix even more the second time 'round.
Man, You guys are brilliant, My warped imagination has me picturing a circus with midgets running for cover as the elephants walk in , all to the tune of Baby Elephant Walk by Billy May.
i've been gone from this site too damn long! this looks great, Cam. I second Ion's notion - you need to lay this down on shiny plastic
fantastic!
