early feb. 2004 -- a mix for long-distance Kerry, motivated by nostalgia and general Februariness. Conceived under a broad heading of winter coffeeshop music. I was a bit limited in my choices (note the absence of Justin Timberlake, etc.) as Kerry is really only into Celtic folk music, so I tried to keep this is close to acoustic and melodic as possible. She may well hate it, but I like it a lot. The BB/Wilco song is my new anthem. I liken it to the Dust Bowl version of the Song of Solomon.
