Comment:

part 2 (the mellow part) of my best of 2003 compilation. These songs won't fit on a CD on their own, I snipped extraneous bits of them (the end of the Elbow song, for instance, is just useless on its own). The disc starts poppy, gets a bit more melodramatic, power-pop and eases out. There wasn't as much really mellow stuff as last year (mum, Sigur Ros) so there's some stuff that could cross over here, like Matthew Sweet. Still, this works quite well to me.

I have this and another photo...didn't know which one conveyed 'release' better. I felt a sense of release after he scored this one against Germany!

As for how many goals this may be, ask Shaka Hislop how many Owen goals have gone by him ;)

and ask Shaka how many times Liverpool has beaten Pompey this year....ummm...none, 0 wins, 1 loss, 1 draw. Hmmmmmmm.

2 games left. And Shaka for West Ham has felt the pain, that's what I was getting at (as I'm sure you know).

I'm not sure on the Owen photo...instead of 'release' you go 'Michael Owen, LFC superhuman goal machine!' but them release photos are hard to come by without looking like a bad yoga video...
