Comment:
Another one of those "gotta clear off the hard-drive" mixes. The new find for me was the Robert Randolph & the Family. That is sooooome fast and funky shit. Whew! The Love version of "My Little Red Book" is on my list of world's finest covers ... I mean, lust, anger, ambivalence, supplication, despair, and pride in one short song? The human condition when it comes to love and relationships, no? The "Mercy" songs are swell, of course. Thanks to Fred Graver for the Dixie Chicks cover of "Landslide" which really works for me. The Etta James cover of "Almost Persuaded" is a cornerstone of country/soul, believe me. Vaya con Dios, amigos!Feedback:
Agree with you on My Little Red Book.
Cute trick on tracks 13 and 14.

*Love* the Parliament and Dusty Springfield; overall another very fine mix! Well done!
Dusty does Cilla! You rock.
Cool. Never fails, your mixes always send me looking for something different than I normally listen to. Thanks!
Yeah, love the Love (hee!) and Dusty, and a ton of other cool stuff.
superb stuff, Sally Anne. Especially love the Love, Stones and Dusty pix.
TrTs Bien comme d'habitude. Great Stones pic and Dusty blows Cilla away with this cover.
Nice 'n' eclectic!
Whoa - this is awesome! Please save me a copy; love to hear it.
Lovely Sally. Love the Doug Sahm pick.
I don't know how I missed this... HOT!
