Big productions. Big songs. That's about all I can say about this mix. I originally intended one CD, but there were too many essential songs to condense that far. (I had to list it as a cassette to get in both CDs.) I did consciously stay away from any songs written for musicals; that would have made it too easy. The two CDs follow a pretty similar structure, especially towards the end. (Both "One Caress" and "All I Ask" are nearly completely string arrangements.) Leave your thoughts.On a sidenote, I thought to include Billy Joel's "Scenes From An Italian Restaurant," but couldn't find a spot for it that I was happy with. Incidentally, it's also used in the musical, "Movin' Out," which is based on the songs of Billy Joel.
