Comment:
A mix for a self-confessed emo ex-raver with a broken soundcard on her computer. Has a very half-assed political theme because I had a full tracklisting for such a thing worked out, then another friend gave her a mix with a lot of the same artists I'd had in mind and I didn't want to repeat. The title is from a Subcomandante Marcos (EZLN) communique, and the pictures are from the Quebec City protests (found online).
Feedback:
Good mix. What are they protesting in Quebec?
The Quebec City protest took place in April 2001 in opposition to global capitalism, as represented by the Summit of the Americas being held to negotiate a new trade agreement, the FTAA (which still doesn't exist).
