Comment:

OK. the theme is songs with samples of little kids on them--talking or laughing preferred, although quite a few of them involve small kids singing. I would love any suggestions if anyone has any. Thanks~

as for songs that sample or feature kids on them:

caresse and sickmob do a version of "are you experienced?" that was recorded when caresse was still a child. also, she appears singing on the album allegory and self by psychic tv.

there are samples of kids playing in a playground on "playground twist" by siouxsie and the banshees i believe.

pizzicato five have a song where they are playing some word game with some children.

i'm sure there must be a lot of others but those are all i can think of right now.

oh, and of course their are kids on some of the bruce haack records.

Interesting idea. Anybody recall that Smiths' song with kids on it?

One of the Yo La Tengo versions of "Nuclear War" has kids singing in it...

I think Cat Stevens "(Remember the Days of) The Old Schoolyard" has children mumbling somewhere throughout. Maybe, Musical Youth. Also, there's a terrible song by "Jordy"-- a disturbingly young French boy-- I believe it's called "Dur dur d'etre un bebe" (accents omitted). Fun idea.

To answer Lancelot - I think the Smiths one is What Difference Does It Make? It's brief, but it's there - I think!
