Comment:
Hmm. Not quite sure what to make of this one yet. Some repeats, some zingers, but it comes together nicely. I get paranoid over repeating artists or using songs that, while still "underground", may have gotten too popular to take seriously anymore. I used to love Fatboy Slim and the Prodigy, but their fanbase has been infiltrated by an inordinate number of doofuses as of late. Maybe that explains the appearance of completely mainstream stuff like Madonna and the Backstreet Boys, music that is statistically off the chart but no one I know will admit to liking. Who knew that the mainstream might become the new alternative? Extra big props to anyone who knows where the title comes from...=]'Feedback:
Title = H.G. Wells, right? Y'know, after playing Side A in my head, it's totally brilliant in an almost sick n' twisted way (meant as a compliment, btw)...but it completely works.
Lakespeed gets a cookie. Its neat to see that over a hundred years ago, Wells was using terms that we would soon come to associate with computers and the internet; i.e. "ping", "route".

When I hear y'all say stuff like, "when I play this mix in my head," I git so depressed. How can Art of the Mix have sound? And be legal?
nice to see some super furries and black grape on aotm, sounds cool
