im having allot of trouble with this one. anyone got any suggestions of songs that are solely about going on a date? or being asked out? or going to the movies? any help would be super appreciated, and id totally send you a copy of a mix if you want. thanks so much!

okay. so im going on a date friday with my boyf--were very close and have been together for a while but we've never actually went on a date. so anyway. i decided to make a tape for the occasion. and this is the start of it.

Don't really know your tastes but these are my fave's when it comes to your theme: Ash's "Shining Light" (it's the song that went through my head when I met my G-friend), REM's "Strange Currencies" (main lyric 'you will be mine'), Dandy Warhol's "Bohemian Like You" & Blur's "You're so great"

My favorite (an only) song about a date is Ellis Paul's "When We Begin"

It captures the nervous nature of two people before thier first date.
