Comment:

The shortest tape I've made in this collection so far, I think, due to the length of both the !!! song and the Silver Mt. Zion song. The title came from a radio DJ I was listening to who described the first NERD album as being "a bit of a sleeper hit" and I realised how much I liked that metaphor. I think at some point in my life I'd like to be described as a sleeper hit. NB the title does not refer to the tape having any songs by terminally crap 90s indie band Sleeper.
This tape was made simply for going to the university libraries and getting books out. The sheer number of times the first four songs of side B came on whilst walking across campus between Bute Library and the Arts and Social Sciences library don't bear thinking about.
