Comment:

This tape went without a title for a long time. It was only after repeated listenings that I realised the tape itself was fucked, and anything after track 6 on side A and track 5 on side B played either at half the speed, or wobbled and played songs out of time and it was incredibly frustrating. I've not got round to remaking the tape, and part of me thinks I should never bother because it would make the title pointless. But then, Can I really exist with only a haggard version of "The Trees" as a permenant record for me liking the song.
Every tape between numbers 52 and 59 were made on a Wednesday evening and were listened to first on a Thursday in various parts of the Humanities Cafe at Cardiff University, Wales. I'd like to say those were the days but they really weren't. They were boring.

i taped a Pet Shop Boys album on a tape like that recently. I listened to half of it and almost got into to it's Magnetically warped groove before i got a headache. Lots of great stuff here and yet another brainbusting segway; Frank Sinatra/Have To Explode
