Comment:

A tape from the tail-end of summer 2003. Notable almost entirely for the inclusion of Konstantine by Something Corporate, which went on to be my favourite song of the whole of 2003. That song was destined I think to be penultimate on compilation tapes and cds, as well as being nearly the perfect song of all time. I'm glad people on this site aren't the types to be stuck up and fail to acknowlege SC because they're on Drive-Thru, or have a song called Punk Rock Princess or whatever. Which is why it was the 50th most popular song on tapes on this site last year or something. Yay.
I was feelng sad. Summer was fading away and it was a Sunday evening after work and I decided to walk up St Giles Hill and look across the city as it grew dark. As the night sky turned black and cloudy, and the lights of the town came on amidst the black buldings, it felt like the world had turned upside-down momentarily.
