Comment:
Yes! The first tape in this pointless idea-completely-stolen-off-Alex collection! Basically the idea was just to catelogue every good song I ever heard onto tapes as opposed to bits of paper, so that I could play them at parties and look cool. The irony is that since I started I've barely been invited to any parties and therefore the whole idea has been an utter failure. But still... this is where it started. And it frankly HAD to start with Song to the Siren as the first song on side B, because that song was practically written to go in that position... it doesn't work anywhere else. The title comes from a scrap of paper my friend acquired at a club. These inane boys turned up and criticised the entire place for being too indie and alternative, wrote varying forms of abuse and then left. Now they are immortalised forever in the form of tape. Ha.
Feedback:
Nice one, pleased about the title explanation too.
