Comment:

Until I visited this site, I didn't know that everyone had the idea of making an alphabet mix, and thought I might be being a bit original. Still, nevermind. The main point of The Alphabet was for me to a) discover new bands/etc, and b) to acquaint myself really properly with my CD collection. I did this by limiting myself to a letter a week, and choosing my Song Of The Week from the things I'd listened to that week. And I did this by asking people for suggestions, by buying CDs of/downloading things by people I'd been meaning to hear for ages, and by listening to the CDs I already had more closely. This tripped up a bit on a few weeks, notably E, I and V, but is redeemed by the fact that I discovered some ace music that I will probably love forever. And I could explain it all more, but that's as boring as I'll get for now, except to say that these songs were SOTWs from 17/11/03-03/05/04.

I like this. Especially for having Quasi and The Reindeer Section together. What's the running time?

Thanks. It's 1:50:44, so I think I'll have to make it two CDs. You can have a copy if you want.
