Now, I've been wanting to make this mix for years. Cunningham and I have discussed it on many occasions. I finally did it. What's interesting is that it could have gone in two directions - freaky and funky, or irresistably romantic. I opted for the latter, but who knows...perhaps another volume looms on the horizon. At any rate, it was difficult to narrow down to 80 minutes (the exclusion of "Slow Love" is most regrettable) and I had to sacrifice the album version of "Do Me, Baby" as well. Nevertheless, get out the purple satin sheets, light a few candles, throw this on and the rest is up to you.
