Comment:
Don't date your best friend. He'll break up with you, just knowing that you'll be there for him in the end, no matter what (or who) he does while you're apart. Now, I just have to wait for the end of his escapades... it's coming soon.Track 1: Our "inside joke."
Track 2: Best friends... always.
Track 3: At first, our friends' comments didn't matter. They loved the single life... we loved each other.
Track 4: Exgirlfriends wanted to steal the show... it didn't happen.
Track 5: Our song.
Track 6: He left me anyway.
Track 7: "She's his yellow brick road, leading him on and letting him go as far as she lets him go, going down to nowhere." Leading him on is right... she was only doing it to take stabs at me.
Track 8: The anger set in.
Track 9: The anger stayed...
Track 10: "Hide behind your smile ... all the world loves a clown."
Track 11: "There is something inside this weary head that wants us to love just instead."
Track 12: "When is it going to end."
Feedback:
O, to be young again!
As a mix-well done. As a personal issue it makes me think of ending with "Tomorrow Never Knows" or "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" What I'm awkwardly trying to say is your mix has touched me,
mmmmm hmmmmm
Musically I'm not a big fan of most of the bands here, but the mix is put together wonderfully to go along with a great personal narrative. And you can only learn it by doing it, but dating your best friend almost never works out the way you envision it.
Well thought out and the songs are really good too! Brand New, Teitur, & Tonic... all awesome.
