Comment:

Last year around this time, my boyfriend of 4 years and I broke up in a painfully public sort of way. I moved to England for the year, and just came back to Canada last month. We saw/talked to each other for the first time in that year, and to make a short story even shorter, we encouraged each other to make mix CDs with those self-indulgent BUT AWESOME breakup songs. So here's mine... I'd say the songs pack a little punch, but also... They are really the songs I played when I was feeling down. So they're all a little sad sounding. The mix is organized in an emotionally chronological way. Starts out with me wanting him "One More Time" and ends in Braid's proclamation "come on, come on, so long, so long, move on, move on."
