Comment:

I just took my last final yesterday and I'm free! So I took the opportunity to craft a new summer mix from some new stuff I picked up recently as well as some old favorites. Does anyone out there know who performed track 8? I love the song, but the artists don't get credit. Hope everyone's enjoying their summer!

This is too awesome. I checked the opening track, just to see what is what, and it's freakin' Radio Birdman. You don't get more "summer" than that! Great job!

Wonderful mix! Nice blend of modern and classic - I love that you have Town Called Malice in there - in fact 11-17 is great. Hope you're enjoying the post-final feeling!

Superb Buglady! Anyone who puts the Shaggs, She, the La's and the Action on the same mix deserves a gold star in my book. Enjoy your freedom while it lasts.

Lots of fun selections. Track 8 was the Dick Shaun dance sequence I think, yeah, great song and probably some studio musicians.

Oooh, this looks just fabilous. I 'specially love the, uh, they're much too numerous to mention, but, er . . . Wanda Jackson, Connie Francis, Robyn Hitchcock, Major Lance, Hank Snow, PP&M, the Shaggs and . . . alright, I'll stop. Guess I'd like to give this 1 a spin sometime (nudge, nudge, wink, wink). . .

Excellent. Love the song It's A Mad...soundtrack -- I have been looking for an opportunity to use it on a mix, but it looks like you beat me to it. Connie Francis to the Soft Boys is inspired. This is excellent, buglady!!!

Killer song to lauch a summer fun mix with. Great mix across the board - there's no use even picking out a few faves becasue the whole ball of wax just kicks butt! IS the Monkees cut just the end of Star Collector or do they also have a song with that title?

They have a song with that title off the last release with Mike Nesmith but sans Peter Tork on "The Monkees: Present" It's a gem of an album, if you haven't heard it I really recommend it. Thanks everyone, for all the wonderful comments!

I'm glad sport picked this for MOTW, not just because it's so well deserved but also because I missed it the first time around. You're going to get a LOT of trade requests for this one, so can I put in a bid right now?

Thanks everybody! I'm honored...Sorry I've been so incommunicado lately, school has been tapping me dry. I'm hoping to get back to mixing and when I get back from Peru. I'm leaving on Easter Sunday for Lima and then Cusco again...I'll be back in early April.
