My first summer living in the Twin Cities (hence the propagation of local artists). A couple notes: The first couple songs are downers due to breakin up w/ my GF. No, I didn't get to see the Pixies at Fine Line... but I downloaded the bootleg that night :) Green Shirt made the cut due to a fling I had at Quisling Terrace in Madison. (formerly the Quisling Clinic mentioned in the song) Polaris was because I was finally able to download the entire series of Pete and Pete. Wilco's a year old album, but still gets heavy rotation this summer. T-Rex got brought to my attention this summer and embodies my new affection for the Cheapo used bins, and Kill Bill got two entries just because it was that friggin cool.Feedback:

I love the twin cities. The Hang Ups were a giveaway that you probably live there! Make sure you go to the First Avenue while it is still around. Can you still surf on free tickets for shows that they give away every time you go there? Also - it took me a month or so to find it when I moved up there to find radio K, so just in case you haven't found it 770 AM. Enjoy the rest of your summer!

Yeah, First Ave is amazing. Did you hear the Club manager just got fired? There were alot of bands that would only do biz w/ him. But, yeah, the free tickets are great, and it gets even better if you go to a show alone and people in line are asking people if they have a ticket already and just giving them away. Radio K has been a Godsend, I also tend to surf on free tickets there too...
