Comment:
To drop all modesty, this is perhaps the finest mix I have ever made for myself. It all comes together and loosely tells a story of bad relationships, be they with God, alcohol, oneself, or members of the opposite sex. It works great as an album to just sit down and absorb, or as something to put on as you lay down to sleep. In a few cases these songs were blended together. The opening piano of track seven comes in over the final line of track 6 to cover up the fact that "Cannonball" originally did so on the album. The clatter that bridges the song before and after track 13 on its album is maintained, fading in over the final note of "Drinker's peace" and then fading out into the opening noise on "Lost Cause." It's an effect that works very well, in my humblest of opinions.
Feedback:
In my humble opinion: Devastating (in the best possible sense).
awesome. i'd like to trade for this.
Totally see you on the blending together of songs. I can't make anything anymore without blending the outro noise of one song into the intro noise of another. Cheers to "Mess" as well! Thanks!
This is some sad shit. I dig.
