Comment:
This is a mix I made specifically for a friend of mine, so it would be a little hard explaining why I included these particular songs. He requested for "new music" since he's been listening to all of his old jazz CDs lately. Some of them reminded me of him or our past conversations. Don't say "WHY DID YOU INCLUDE THAT *SMITHS* SONG?!?!?" or I shall smite you! Hahaha. No actually, I really want that song included, because it fits perfectly. He's a hardcore jazz lover, so I highly doubt he has even heard half of these artists/tracks -- but since I know him quite well, I'm pretty sure he would like them. Hopefully. :) Cheers!
Feedback:
I like your inclusion of the Chicago tune. And of course the Costello track is a personal favorite. I hope your friend enjoys it!
Nice! I particularly like the BF5 song, I am rediscovering a little groove in my heart that used to belong to that quirky rocker! I miss the 5 but BF is still pretty darn cool!
very lovely mix, especially "Best Imitation of Myself" and "Twentysomething".
Fra Lippo Lippi is a great Pick. I like the Intriguing Title of this CD.

"Who Loves The Sun" is such a happy song, I would use it to introduce even the most jaded listener to Velvet. I think your friend oughta like this mix, good work. Cheers! -Famous.
Beautiful mix. The Elvis Costello and Velvet Underground tracks are superb! A+ for feel good music.
all the songs look great, especially the smith's song: there is a light that never goes out. The Lucksmiths covered that song, and their version is amazing if you are interested in checking that out.
